Acti expands its pharmaceutical skills

The IT services company dedicated to financial institutions takes over the Techno 5 advisory structure from its director's brother, Roland Theman, and signs its third external growth this year.

Third external growth since the start of the year for the Acti Group. After being deployed on telecoms networks with Aitika Telecom in January and then established in Lyon with Architech Information Systems at the beginning of March, the IT services company is further strengthening its expertise with Techno 5 . This consulting company specializing, among other things, in the pharmaceutical and biostatistics fields achieved € 8.5 million in turnover for € 650,000 in operating income last year. Created by Roland Teman in Canada, the target employs 80 people between Montreal, Paris and Miami.The founder of Techno 5 is none other than the brother of Acti's director, Michel Teman , which facilitated this merger. The transaction, the financial terms of which have not been disclosed, was carried out via the buyer's holding company incorporated in 2006, Damilo SAS, and the sale price may be supplemented by an earn-out based on performance within the ten -eight months.

65 M € turnover in 2010

Born in 1993 and taken over by Michel Teman (photo opposite) in 2001 , Acti is involved in the information system service and advice of large groups such as BNP Paribas, Mediapost, France Telecom and Generali. Established by successive acquisitions, the group recorded 52 M € of turnover in 2009 and will exceed 65 M € this year . Last year, he acquired the IT services company Proactive Partners and the market finance specialist EABI.. With Techno 5, Acti is acquiring new expertise in five specific areas of activity including pharmacy, financial IT, business intelligence, system and network infrastructures as well as web application development. As of this year, the company, currently employing 630 people , intends to recruit between 130 and 160 people to support its organic growth.
