Seed monopoly is serious business that has detrimental effects on our environment and food economy. And with the merger of Bayer and Monsanto, shit just got (even more) real.

For the record, I have nothing against GM technology as long as it's handled ethically and responsibly. What I do have an issue with is commercial crop production that replaces crop diversity with mono crops, resulting in a greater need for pesticides and a reduction in biodiversity 😤
