Besides being a PhD Scholar sponsored by the Australian Cooperative Research Center (CRC) for Construction Innovation, Soon Kam has also worked as a Research Associate for a CRC's project on 'Delivering Re-life Project for Old Office Building'.

The project has developed best practices guideline aimed at a holistic approach to the decision-making of ‘re-lifing’ old office building projects with a sustainability focus. Findings are accessible at YourBuilding (Profiting from Sustainability) Website, an Australia’s national online resource on sustainable initiatives.
